SOMEBODY IS FOLLOWING YOU
Every person has influence over some other life, your influences is either for good or for bad. By the way you live, you are pointing people toward Heaven or toward hell.
You might do certain things that would not injure you, but because of your influence, others may be injured, Paul said 1 Corinthians 8:13 “Wherefore if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make brother to offend” Jesus said Mathew 5:16.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father, which is in heaven”.
You may not realize the influence you are having over other people in your house, school, place of work, market or even in the church, we can do little work of kindness and make many happy and blessed forever. Also by being unselfish Christian we can have an influence that will continue till eternity.
On the stone that marks the grave of a dear little child can be seen these words: “A child of whom her playmates said, it was easier to be good, when she was with us” I wonder if your friends can say that about you?
After a young man gave his life to Christ, his Pastor asks him what part of His message affected him but the young man answered, “Nothing that you said, but the way my mother lived in our home”.
A dying boy said to his father “ I am going home now to see Jesus, Daddy and I am going to tell Jesus that you told me how to live for Him” Father, mother are you pointing your children toward Heaven? Young person are you pointing your friends towards Heaven?
Unsaved people and compromising Christians always have a bad influence. Why not accept Christ now and surrender your life completely to Him? “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou salt be saved”
Dear reader, please remember this statement; somebody somewhere is following in your footsteps. Where are you leading them?
“A consistent Christian life is the best interpretation and proof of the Gospel”
“The opportunity is brief – don’t delay
The path is narrow – don’t wander”
The prize is glorious – don’t faint”
“I have but one life to live; IF I invest it unworthily, my regret will be as long as eternity”
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” – Psalm 90:12
